Longitudinal (A) and transverse (B) sonograms (3.5-MHz probe) of
right lobe of liver show coarse liver parenchyma with diffusely enhanced
echogenicity. In comparison, kidney (star) appears hypoechoic.
Diminished through-transmission is evident.
