Fig. 1C —61-year-old man with known coronary artery disease. Left
ventricular endocardial and epicardial contours drawn on reformatted
short-axis views using dual-source CT (A and B, respectively) in
comparison with cardiac MRI (C and D, respectively) show
papillary muscles are included in ventricular volume. Because of use of tube
current modulation, there is slight increase in image noise in systole;
however, this does not affect differentiation of tissues.
