Fig. 5A —67-year-old man with previously treated differentiated thyroid carcinoma and markedly raised thyroglobulin level. Whole-body iodine scintigraphy was negative. Anterior planar scintigram obtained 24 hours after administration of ¹¹¹In-pentreotide shows intense uptake in right upper thorax (curved arrow), lower grade uptake in left hemithorax (arrowhead) and right shoulder region (straight arrow).
