Fig. 2B —49-year-old man with chronic diverticulitis who presented
with 5-month history of left lower quadrant pain but no fever, leukocytosis,
or abdominal tenderness or rebound. Axial image from oral and IV
contrast-enhanced abdominal CT obtained 3 months earlier shows long segment of
colonic wall thickening (white arrows) with pericolic inflammatory
